Samar

It’s magic, you know. That moment when the sun finally dips below the horizon and the darkness settles in for the night. That moment that marks the turning of the day.

I didn’t notice that moment when I was with you. The sun finished his daily dance and said his farewells. And you and I just kept talking, laughing, living.

It wasn’t until the sun came back around and said good morning that I realized how late we had been awake.

Although I think by that point, we had no longer stayed up too late.

We had stayed up early.
